Labor Day Weekend!

We're getting ready for the busiest weekend of the month here at FCP! ArtWalk is tonight! The streets are just waiting for the thousands to parade Downtown in search of the best art deals of the season! Concerts, plays, and movies are also in store this weekend! It feels good to be a Flagstaffian.

First Friday ArtWalk
Downtown Flagstaff
Friday 6:00-9:00pm

It’s Flagstaff’s First Friday ArtWalk! All around Downtown, businesses and galleries open their doors with yummy snacks, drinks, entertainment, and wonderful art! It really is Flagstaff’s premier social and art event. At 6:00, live entertainment by Zumba on Heritage Square will lead up to the Movie on the Square, Finding Nemo, one of my favorite movies. The kids will love this as always, and of course it’s FREE!

Sing-A-Long Movie Night: Oklahoma
Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill
Friday, 8:00pm

Tonight at the Pepsi Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill you can Sing-a-Long to Oklahoma, the Musical. Bring a blanket and enjoy the shows under the stars. Tickets available at pepsiamp.com.



LoCura in Concert
The Arboretum at Flagstaff
Saturday, 5:30pm

Tomorrow, Saturday, LoCura is playing live at the Arboretum at Flagstaff. LoCura mixes Flamenco with Reggae, and Cumbia with Ska. Sure to be a great show! Bring your picnic dinner to the Arb. The show starts at 5:30. Tickets available at culturalpartners.org.

Ballet Folklorico de Colores
Heritage Square Downtown
Saturday, 4:00-6:00pm

The kids dance group, Ballet Folklorico de Colores is performing as part of the Heritage Square Trust Summer Concert Series. This traditional Mexican folk dance is colorful and fun! Free!

Elden Brass Quintet in Concert
Lowell Observatory
Sunday, 5:00pm

Sunday is the last of the FREE month long Summer Music series at the Lowell Observatory. This series is sponsored by the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra. This week is the Elden Brass Quintet performing at 5:00pm.

Cold War Kids in Concert
The Orpheum Theater
Wednesday, 8:00pm

This Wednesday The Cold War Kids are coming to the Orpheum Theater! Rock/Soul/Punk/Blues all mixed into one. Tickets are available at the door or at orpheumpresents.com. Show starts at 8pm.

Helly Dolly! The Musical
Sinagua Auditorium
Fri & Sat, 7:30pm/ Sun 2:30pm

As for the theater scene, today through the 11th, catch the timeless classic, Hello Dolly! Presented by Flagstaff Light Opera at the Sinagua Middle School Auditorium. Go to thefloc.org for showtimes.
