Another Fun-Filled Flagstaff Weekend

This weekend promises to be exciting and jam-packed with great local events. There are so many ways to get out and enjoy a beautiful rainy July in Flagstaff!


Movies on the Square: Wallace & Grommit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
At Heritage Square in Downtown
Catch a family friendly movie every Friday at Heritage Square in Historic Downtown. This week's showing is Wallace & Grommit. Chris Cheeseman will be performing before the movie. Bring a blanket and the kids!

The movie starts at 6:00pm Free admission!

"Clips of Faith" Beer & Film Festival
At the multipurpose fields at Thorpe Park
It’s New Belgium’s style of show business: An outdoor evening with artistic beers and films, all to benefit Flagstaff Biking Organization. The selected films include comedic shorts, adventure documentaries and music animation. The event will highlight some of New Belgium’s most esoteric beer offerings.

Dead Ahead in Concert: A Grateful Dead Tribute
At the Orpheum Theater
You don't want to miss Dead Ahead, featuring Melvin Seals and Jimmy Tebeau from the Jerry Garcia Band.

The 26th Annual Plant Sale & Penstemon Festival
At the Arboretum at Flagstaff

Local growers will have a wide selection of specimens to choose from. Great for your garden! You'll even learn which plants attract birds.

Second Saturday Songwalk
At Historic Downtown Flagstaff

Multiple venues host singer/songwriters, performing their own all-original solo material.

Saturday from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Visit songwalk.org for venue and artist locations.

Heritage Square Trust Concert Series
At Heritage Square in Historic Downtown Flagstaff
Saturday at 4:00pm is ReWired, mixing classic rock, blues, and funk. Sunday at 2:00pm is Big Willie & the Polka Meisters with clean family German music. Admission is free!
