I spy with my little eye...
...Something that is RECYCLED! The 9th Annual Recycled Art Exhibition is taking shape in both of our gallery spaces. Study the images below and ponder what you think the piece really is:
All works entered must have been made by at least 80% recycled or found materials. It's always insightful to see the creative types make something really great from discarded junk or seemingly useless items.
The Opening Reception for the exhibit is Saturday, April 9 from 6-9pm - and it's free! During the reception, local artists Keith Huling, Robert Zappanti, Dawn Sutherland, Johnny Anaya, and John Rogers will be featured in a live performance-art composite along with Isolated Incident Performance Group and musical group Jazz Dimension III. Local writer Phyllis Thompson will also be performing one of her written works during the reception, as will NORAZ Poets. The works of art created during the performance will be auctioned off at the end of the reception. See you then!
