TGIFriday!!

Are you as ready for the weekend as we are?! So many great shows and events are happening around town, so put on those jean shorts, and enjoy the Flagstaff summer!

The Flagstaff Folk Festival at the Coconino Center for the Arts and the Arizona Historical Society Pioneer Museum
In its tenth year, the Flagstaff Folk Festival proudly showcases the best in folk and acoustic music in Arizona and beyond. We feature over 100 acts on four stages, workshops, jams, and more. We invite you to come out and see some great live music in a wonderful setting.

The festival is Sat-Sun from 10:00am- 6:00pm. Admission is $3 a person/ $9 a family. For more information and a complete lineup, visit flagfolkfest.org.


Hummingbird Festival at the Arboretum at Flagstaff
Celebrate the wonder of hummingbirds with regional experts; you'll even learn how to attract them to your garden! Saturday at 9:00am-5:00pm. $7 or adults, $6 for seniors, and $3 for children. Visit thearb.org or call (928) 774-1442 for more information.


Made in the Shade Beer Tasting Festival at the Coconino County Fairgrounds
Enjoy the cool pine trees and the beautiful mountains on Saturday from 1:00pm- 5:00pm. Featuring over 50 breweries from around the Southwest and West Coast that bring many varieties of beer to sample, and the sounds of Peppermint James, this beer festival is sure to be fun!

Tickets for this 21 and over festival are $40 in advance and $50 at the gate. Call (928) 779-1775 or visit azbeer.com to purchase tickets or find locations around town that are selling them.


"Annie Jr." Presented by Theatrikos Theater Company
This TheatriKIDS production opened last night. You won't want to miss it this weekend. Shows Fri-Sat at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. Visit theatrikos.com to buy tickets or call (928) 774- 1662.


MELT Flagstaff at the Orpheum Theater
MELT is an NAU student organization and artist collective. The all-ages show is Friday from 9:00pm- 2:00am. Only $2 at the door.


Black Cherry Burlesque at the Orpheum Theater

The show starts Saturday at 9:00pm. Doors open at 8:00pm. Visit orpheumpresents.com for tickets. $12 in advance. $15 day of show.


Community for All Ages Mural Painting at the Murdoch Center
Bring a paintbrush and bring the mural to life! There will also be a raffle for $500 gift package including amenities at the Drury Inn and meals at Southside restaurants. Meet at the Murdoch Center Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Refreshments will be provided.


IN CASE YOU MISSED IT LAST WEEKEND!!


"The Trial of Goldilocks" Presented by Flagstaff Youth Theater
This is a fun filled show all about the famed Goldilocks being put on trial for the antics of breaking and entering the Bears' home. This is a show you won't want to miss!

Showing at the Flagstaff High School Auditorium on Fri, Sat, and Sun at 2:00pm. $6 for adults/$4 for children. Showing also at 7:00pm on Fri & Sat. $8 for adults/$6 for children


"Josephina Javelina" at the NAU Studio Theater
Put on by a team from NAU's Theater department, this play is adapted from the storybook of the same name. Shows at 3:00pm and 5:00pm on Friday & Saturday. $5 suggested donation. $10 per family. For more information call 928-523-3765.
